At what point should I give up on my trees and rip them out and try again?
I’ve got two Japanese maples that I threw in the ground at the last minute as they were overgrowing their pots before going on holiday for a month.
It’s been a hot month, and the leaves are all brown & dead. Sure.
But the trunks are still green.
Should I yoink them out and try again? Or leave them in and hope they bounce back with some heavy watering?
