I usually find softwood cuttings to be easier. I have few cuttings which I planted 4 weeks back and few leaves are already there on it. Take cuttings which has leaves, about 6 to 8 inches long, cut it below the leaf node. I usually dip it in rooting hormone gel and place in planter with normal potting mix. Make sure it is moist daily. You would see leaves emerging by 3rd week.
